Docs · the loop
The stamp is a burn. The dividend is ZEC.
Inbox rite
Every new inbox burns 250,000 $ZMAIL. Half is destroyed on-chain, half enters the public treasury that pays mail relays. Supply only falls when demand for privacy rises.
Alias rite
Each extra alias is a separate burn at a published rate (90,000 $ZMAIL). Founding inboxes mint aliases at 50% of the public burn. Still 50/50 destroy and treasury. Never a monthly fee.
Relay tax → ZEC
Paid features that are not access — large attachments, timed self-destruct beyond the free tier, vanity names — settle a small fee. 60% buys ZEC and streams to $ZMAIL holders as a claim. 40% buys $ZMAIL on the ZEC pair and burns it.
Stonk.fun drip
Creator and pool rewards from the $ZMAIL / ZEC pair are also paid to holders in ZEC. Two pipes feed the same desk: product earnings and launchpad rewards.
Scarcity lock
The public burn price for a new inbox can only move up, tied to inboxes issued. Early keys stay valid forever. Late mail costs more $ZMAIL.
Empty-inbox decay
Reserved names never opened after the grace window return nothing and mint nothing. The float never inflates to fix a mistake.
Questions
What is ZMAIL?+
An encrypted drop box addressed at @zmail.zec. You do not subscribe to it — you burn for it once and the wallet holds the key.
What is $ZMAIL?+
The access asset and the only ticker on this page. It trades against ZEC on stonk.fun and is destroyed every time an inbox or alias is opened.
How do I get @zmail.zec?+
Perform the rite: burn the published offering from your wallet. The contract binds a non-transferable address derived from your key.
Why 50/50?+
Half destroyed keeps the float honest. Half funds the relays that actually carry mail, so the product is paid for by usage, not by subscribers.
How do holders earn ZEC?+
Product fees and stonk.fun pool rewards are converted to ZEC and made claimable. A further 40% of earnings buys $ZMAIL on the pair and burns it.
Do inboxes expire?+
No. Keys are permanent. Unused reserved names lapse without minting anything, but an opened inbox is yours for as long as you hold the key.
Is this email in the proto sense or a drop box?+
A drop box. Shielded messages routed by paid relays, not SMTP in the clear. Treat it as a private channel, not a replacement for legacy mail.
Is any of this financial advice?+
No. Nothing here is financial advice. $ZMAIL is an access asset with volatile market pricing.
